I have often heard that once you go fishing you are hooked. There are millions of people stating fishing as being a hobby both men and woman enjoy. It is a great past time for husband and wife to do together.

First thing to take notice of is that fishing is a very broad term. Do not confuse it with the term angling. The two basic forms are fresh water fishing and salt water fishing. It is possible to enjoy both forms of fishing but most people prefer one or the other.

Of the two the most favored one is fresh water fishing. It gives families a chance do activities together that they enjoy. For example you can rent a boat and go fishing in the many rivers and streams and in the evenings go into town to do some shopping and see some sites. We love to do this in Branson Mo. This is a great place to do both.

If your family loves the water, then deep sea fishing is really enjoyable. It can provide you with all the thrills of deep sea fishing but you can also go scuba diving or snorkeling. And of course the old laughable story about the "one that got away."
